Two decades of professional artistry, refined by a clinical approach to skin.

Kathryn’s connection to the beauty industry began long before she officially started her professional makeup career in 2006. Raised around beauty professionals—including a cosmetologist aunt and a color-consultant grandmother—her eye for detail, balance, and aesthetics was shaped early.

Her background as a competitive dancer and theatre performer gave her a deep understanding of lighting, facial structure, color, and longevity. That foundation later led her into runway work, bridal artistry, and national education with Mirabella Beauty, where she trained other beauty professionals in advanced application techniques.

Today, Kathryn’s deepest passion is clinical skin health. She believes the most beautiful makeup is an extension of a healthy, functioning skin barrier. Because her time is primarily dedicated to the treatment room, she accepts a limited number of makeup commissions each season so every client receives her full creative energy, time, and attention.

As a perk of being under our clinical care, your canvas is already familiar to us. No consultation form is necessary. Simply reach out by text or email with your event date, and if Kathryn’s schedule allows, we will reserve your appointment.

For New Inquiries & Non-Members:
Because Kathryn’s makeup schedule is limited and prioritized for established clients, outside makeup requests are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please complete the Artistry Request Form below. If your timeline, vision, and our availability align, we will be in touch.

Travel is very limited and considered on a case-by-case basis depending on availability, location, and the size of the request. Additional travel fees may apply. Please include your location and getting-ready timeline in your Artistry Request Form.
Yes. Kathryn offers makeup for engagement sessions, maternity photos, family portraits, branding photos, bridal parties, and special events (like prom) when her schedule allows. Kathryn primarily works with Mirabella Beauty, a professional artistry line she has trusted for more than 15 years. Mirabella offers high-performance, photo-friendly formulas designed to feel comfortable on the skin while supporting a polished, long-wearing finish.

The Bridal Countdown: A Clinical Approach

At Rose Aesthetics, we believe your bridal glow should be engineered, not left to chance. A flawless makeup application requires a pristine canvas. This clinical timeline is designed to optimize your barrier, perfect your enhancements, and eliminate beauty stressors so you can simply enjoy your day.

Phase 1: Foundation & Strategy

12 Months Out (The Blueprint): Do not let your skin be an afterthought. We develop a bespoke, barrier-first clinical regimen to ensure your canvas is inherently healthy, balanced, and radiant by your wedding day.
6 Months Out (Structural Enhancements): We begin mapping your brow and lash goals—whether that involves lifts, laminations, or extensions. This is also the time to initiate a consistent waxing routine (brows, face, and body) to align your hair growth cycles perfectly.
3 Months Out (The Commitment Point): It is not too late to start, but consistency becomes essential. We continue your corrective skin treatments, refine your homecare, and maintain your waxing schedule.

Phase 2: Refinement & The Final Glow

6 Weeks to 1 Month Out (The Trial Run): Complete your bridal makeup trial and, if you plan to spray tan, schedule a custom tan trial. This is also the ideal time for your second-to-last brow waxing appointment so your skin is conditioned before the final pre-wedding wax.
2 Weeks Out (Framing the Face): Finalize all semi-permanent enhancements, including your brow lamination and lash lifts or extensions.
1 Week Out (Barrier Optimization): The ultimate canvas prep. We perform a gentle dermaplane paired with a deeply hydrating facial to create a perfectly smooth, peach-fuzz-free surface.
2 to 3 Days Out (The Oxygen Boost): An advanced clinical oxygen treatment to infuse the skin with life, delivering a coveted, lit-from-within glow.

Phase 3: The 48-Hour Protocol

The Day Before (Internal Defense): Hydrate internally and externally. Strictly no alcohol—it dehydrates the skin's barrier and causes professional makeup to separate from the skin. Apply your complimentary hydrating sheet mask and prioritize rest.
The Morning Of: Apply chilled eye masks to dramatically reduce inflammation, gently exfoliate and deeply hydrate your lips, and follow your artist's exact skincare prep instructions before stepping into the makeup chair.
