Not necessarily! Peeling is a side effect of cellular turnover, not a measure of a treatment’s efficacy. Our Zero Downtime and Brighten & Hydrate peels typically produce microscopic shedding that is virtually invisible. Advanced peels (like the Green Sea Peel) will produce mild to moderate flaking for 3 to 7 days as old skin naturally sheds.

You do not need to choose! During your consultation, we analyze your skin type, Fitzpatrick scale, barrier condition, and history with active acids. We then select or blend the exact peel formula that will deliver maximum correction safely.

You must discontinue all active retinoids (Tretinoin, Retin-A, retinol), chemical exfoliants (AHAs/BHAs), physical scrubs, and benzoyl peroxide for at least 5 to 7 days prior to your service. Avoid direct sun exposure and waxing in the treatment area for one week prior.

Yes! Our Acne Clarifying Peel is specifically formulated to reduce inflammation and clear congestion. However, if your skin barrier is currently inflamed or raw, we will first focus on calming and repairing the barrier before introducing active acids.
